Accounting Analyst(5476)

Overview of Role

As an Accounting Analyst, your responsibilities will include reviewing invoices and expense reports for payment approval, performing G/L account reconciliation, ensuring compliance with company policies and preparing financial reporting packages. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and is willing to take on projects as needed. The experience in handling tax returns, assisting with income tax provision calculations, financial audits is a plus. You will report to the Deputy Director of the General Accounting department, and the job will be located in San Jose, CA. Currently, we are operating in a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely payment processing by reviewing invoices and expense reports following company policies.
  • Perform G/L account reconciliation to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and GAAP/IFRS standards to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Prepare a quarterly financial reporting package with comprehensive financial data and movement explanation as needed.
  • Assist with income tax provision calculations, including current and deferred provision calculations, and prepare sales/use tax and property tax returns in various states.
  • Aid in external financial audits and internal control audits and take the lead on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • At least three years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to work overtime in order to complete responsibilities

Pay Transparency

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $72,500 and $105,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
