Application Developer/ Web Programmer(5484)

Overview of Role 

We're looking for an experienced software developer to design and develop web systems, Windows and Linux applications and databases. The idea candidate would be responsible for coding, testing, documenting, and delivering features based on project requirements. You'll also maintain existing systems, analyze data, and support cross-functional groups in identifying issues and delivering solutions. 

Your will report to the Sr. Department Manager of the Application Development Department, and the job will be based in San Jose, CA. If you're a problem solver with a passion for software development, we'd love to hear from you! Our work schedule operates on a hybrid system, where you will be required to work three days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reliable, intuitive web systems, Windows/Linux applications, and databases to support business needs

• Involve in feature delivery: Coding, testing, and documenting based on project requirements.

• Enhance and maintain existing systems.

• Conduct data analysis and support cross-functional groups in identifying issues, analyzing business requirements, and delivering solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 3 years of experiences in Client/Server Web Programming, Database Programming, Web/Graphic Design, and office automation

• 3+ years client-side programming (HTML, Javascript, and CSS) and server-side programming (ASP.Net ,C#, Python, or ASP classic)

• 3+ years database programming with T-SQL and PL/SQL 

• Hands-on experience in PowerShell script and VB script (other batch scripts are nice to have)

• Hands-on experience in Web Service, XML, and JSON

• Strong understanding of procedural programming and OOP/OOD

• Experience in AI automation

• Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working applications 

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload

• Good interpersonal skills with an enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

• Active contributor who works well in a team environment

• Fluency in Mandarin is stronger preferred

Pay Transparency Statement

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an annual base salary between $91,000 and $136,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
