Overview of Role

TSMC is in search of a Deputy Director for our Design Infrastructure Marketing Program in San Jose, CA. This role will focus on both managing public relations and marketing of TSMC's Open Innovation Platform (OIP) Ecosystem and Alliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for OIP events globally including the US, Japan, Europe, Israel, China, and Taiwan. In addition, you will also help support Ecosystem partner's events. The ideal candidate will know how to manage a marketing team globally and will have at least 5+ years background in marketing and PR in semiconductor, EDA, or IP industries. We are currently working in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for PR, Promotion of OIP Ecosystem and Alliance
  • Responsible for OIP Events globally, US, JP, EU, Israel, China, and Taiwan
  • Manage a marketing team globally.  Must be able to work flexible hours for calls with Asia or Europe
  • Support Ecosystem partner’s events

Minimum Qualifications

  • MS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 18+ years of professional/work experience
  • Solid background in marketing, events, PR
  • Must work in semiconductor industry, EDA, or IP
  • Must have direct experience with marketing, press release drafting, working with media
  • Must be able to travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • EDA usage experience

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $208,500 and $300,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.  TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, allowances, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
