Job Title: Section Manager
Job Descriptions: Responsible for assisting our customers in adopting the technologies for TSMC’s newest process technologies for integrated circuit manufacturing. Coordinating the design changes, design fitting issues, and other technical data to ensure customers’ designs can fit TSMC’s production flow and procedures. Specific tasks include but are not limited to: Acting as liaison between customer and TSMC fab manufacturing staff; Providing training and on-site support to TSMC’s U.S. customers of TSMC specific advanced processing analog and mixed-signal IC layout, utilizing knowledge of TSMC’s design rules; Implementing blocks of customer’s chip, covering floor plan, timing and noise closure and power planning; and providing analog and mixed-signal IC layout floorplan and layout guideline.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in a related position.
Work experience or academic background must have included: Knowledge of chip implementation technology including the electronic circuit and semiconductor device, advanced semiconductor fabrication process and procedures, and layout process/device/design rules/tools (Layout Tool: Virtuoso; Verification Tool: Calibre).

Salary Range: $170,248 /year to $186,000 /year.

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $170,248/year to $186,000 /year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
