Senior Manager, Optimal Pattern Correction (5503)

Overview of Role
As a Senior OPC Manager, you will assume the position of TSMC OPC model architect and incorporate all of the in-house Maxwell model solutions. You will take the lead in integrating the solutions provided by EDA suppliers to create superior and cutting-edge OPC solutions. There are also future possibilities of working in other OPC teams in HQ to collaborate with programs to deliver A10 or A7 OPC technology.
You will report to the Director, OPC Department in San Jose, CA. We are currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office.

 

Responsibilities:
•    Integrate inhouse mask, ADI, and AEI models to improve OPC accuracy and runtime for N2 and A14 OPC with aids of machine-learning and GPU.
•    Deliver a model platform with rigorous R3D to enhance hotspots detection on the most critical P74.5 (P73.7) DUV and P33 EUV metal layers.
•    Lead model team to develop stress model simulation and OPC solutions for OVL improvement in backside bonding process, and A10 or path-finding OPC technology development: Integrate recipe, model, PWLPC for HVM OPC technology delivery.
•    Develop a platform to integrate all commercial EDA suppliers and inhouse model solutions in one entrance program to optimize OPC performance.
•    AI-assisted pattern generator with design-rule-based and geometry-based for pattern coverage of model calibration to ensure OPC accuracy for design diversity.

 

Minimum Qualifications:
•    PhD's Degree or above in Computer Science, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or related fields, with 20+ years of experience in project management.
•    Knowledgeable on optical lithography and semiconductor process.
•    Good project management, communications, organized thinking, leadership and interpersonal skills.
•    Proactive and positive attitude to deal with workplace challenges.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience in deep-learning computer vision, reinforcement learning, or image processing is a plus.
•    Experience in computer engineering or heterogeneous computing will be advantageous. 
•    Proficient bilingual skills in Mandarin and English.

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement 
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $214,000 and $300,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.  TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, allowances, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
