Sr. Accounting/Payroll Analyst(6748)
Overview of Role
We are seeking a Senior Accounting with payroll experience to join our team and play a key role in managing and optimizing Accounting/payroll operations. You will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, conducting payroll audits, reconciling payroll-related accounts, and providing analytical support for payroll reporting and process improvements. You will report to the Accounting Manager and collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams. You will also play the role to manage company working capital to maximize investment returns. We operate in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. This position is located in our San Jose, CA office, where we are currently operating in a hybrid environment, working 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
Responsibilities:
• Process and audit payroll transactions including new hires, separations, benefits deductions, tax deposits, deferred compensation, and required tax filings
• Process time data, shift premiums, overtime, rate changes, adjustments, bonuses, garnishment, expense, travel and relocation reimbursement, time off pay tracking and reporting, W-4 and direct deposit set-up and changes
• Handle daily wires and manage working capital efficiently to optimize investment returns
• Ad Hoc assignments such as sales tax/use tax reconciliation and reporting
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation for accounts assigned
• Assist with various projects not only limit to payroll and to support company needs
• Follow company audit controls and procedures including SOX and CSA tests
• Support internal and external audits not limited to Workers Comp and 401K audit
• Provide reports for G/L posting of Payroll
• Communicate with business partners in other time zones
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field with minimum 10 years of experience
• Certified Payroll/Accounting Professional preferred
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of payroll/timekeeping systems (ADP Workforce Now required)
• Ability to handle high volumes of work accurately in a timely manner
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and detail oriented
• A strong team player and can work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills

Pay Transparency Statement
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an annual base salary between $105,000 and $170,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
