TIM（熱インターフェース材料）開発エンジニア／TIM (Thermal Interface Material) Development Engineer

Role:

• Collaborate with Japanese materials manufacturers to develop new TIM materials with extremely low thermal resistance.
• Utilize thermal resistance measurement equipment at our Tsukuba facility to accurately measure the thermal resistance of developed TIMs.
• Exercise meticulous attention to detail in sample preparation and measurement procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Understand the assembly process of advanced packages using TIMs and develop cooling solutions capable of dissipating heat exceeding 1000W.
• Apply knowledge of heat transfer and techniques to reduce interfacial thermal resistance to optimize TIM performance.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and headquarters departments to coordinate TIM development efforts and ensure alignment with R&D targets.
• Participate in training sessions to acquire and enhance the necessary technical skills for TIM development and measurement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in thermal interface material development or related areas such as thermal management, heat transfer, or materials characterization.
• Familiarity with thermal resistance measurement techniques and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise and accurate measurements and sample preparations.
• Knowledge of heat transfer principles and techniques to reduce interfacial thermal resistance is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and headquarters departments.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and development.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
