Summer 2025 - Government Affairs Intern
Overview of Role
TSMC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Government Affairs team in Washington, DC. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for rising college juniors and seniors to gain hands-on experience in government affairs and public policy. This is an 8-week paid internship to take place between mid-May and the end of July.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive research on various legislative and policy matters.
• Attend relevant events and report insights to the Government Affairs team.
• Monitor and analyze Congressional hearings, providing summaries and updates.
• Track and summarize legislation and policy developments impacting TSMC.
• Support the DC-based Government Affairs division with various tasks as needed.
• Perform minimal administrative tasks related to the role.
Minimum Qualifications
• Current rising junior or senior in college, pursuing a degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Interest in government affairs and public policy.
• Familiarity with legislative processes is a plus.
